Almost most famous individuals, celebrity's and politicians have their "Duplicates" who in some cases also earn a living and "Reflected fame" from their more famous "Look-Alike".
The abrupt death of "Michael.Jackson" has created a copyright Industry for "Michael.Jackson clones", performing his music and dance steps almost to the original.
In the "McDowell's Indian Derby-2010" i unwittingly became a "International victim" of the "Michael Jackson duplicate Industry".
All advertisements had proclaimed that a certain Mr Glenn.Jackson would be enacting "Tribute performances(Duplicate performances)" of Michael.Jackson on Indian Derby day. A very normal occurrence as in previous years, the duplicates(look-alikes) of Elvis.Presley, Cliff.Richard and Mick.Jagger had also performed similar dance and song recitals.

As usual, i videotaped the skits of these performances and posted it on "You tube" something very normal.After a few days i get a letter from the organizer of the "McDowell's Indian Derby" and on inquiry was told to delete the video as the authentic duplicate Mr Glenn.Jackson had not performed due to unavailability and was replaced by a certain MR Robin.Parsons at the last moment and hence the error in "Derby Media News". Simultaneously, i also received mail from England from Mr Glenn.Jackson himself who said that it was not him in the video but someone else and he would contact the police regarding "Copyright Laws"!
Below is the official mail from Mr Glenn.Jackson, a bizarre mirror image of Michael.Jackson:-
Please can you remove these videos, i am Glenn Jackson and this is not me performing on these videos!!! If you fail to remove these videos i will take legal action, the police have been informed.
His agents based in London also wrote to me and the same is reproduced below:-

Please remove any reference to his name. We are aware that the event was advertised as Glenn Jackson performing, but Glenn did not actually perform. I do not know who it actually is performing, but they are nowhere near to the standard that Glenn is

We realize that you were led to believe that it was Glenn performing, and that there was no intent on putting the wrong persons name - it was purely a mistake.

"Videography" has been my hobby since the advent of "Digital photography" and my video became akin to the "Zapruder 8mm video film" of the "Kennedy assassination", only difference, instead of an assassination my video was the source of an intense "Copyright Defamation" suit.
Mr Lalit.Kewalramani, the organizer of the entertainment shows on behalf of "Mcdowells Corporation" didn't actually intend to deceive the public by printing Glenn.Jackson's name and replacing him with a lesser known "Michael Jackson Duplicate", Mr Robin.Parsons. He was too late to prevent the error from being published in the "Indian Derby Cole Race book",the bible of "Indian Horse-racing" in Mumbai as Glen.Jackson cancelled his iitinerary at the last moment.
I unwittingly also taped the shows as performed by "Glenn.Jackson", following the "Cole Text" and posted the same on "You tube".The "Original Michael.Jackson duplicate" Mr Glenn.Jackson and his show managers in London happened to view the same and must have got the fright and shock of their lives.
An amateur "Videographer" had suddenly created an International ruckus involving a World renowned "Michael Jackson Impersonator(clone)" in one of India's most famous horse-racing events, "The McDowell Indian Derby ".I later erased the same from my "Video Catalogue" and also corrected where necessary, finally soothing everyone's frayed nerves and tempers.
"Michael Jackson" akin to "Elvis Presley" would earn a huge amount of "Licensee fees" posthumously from his "Duplicates", one of the most famous being Glenn.Jackson. Even Robin.Parsons who performed in Mumbai was a absolute clone of Michael.Jackson, barring his skin colour as he is white, unlike Glenn who is a total replica of the original Jackson.
Next time, don't consider "DUPLICATES" to be cheap imitators of the "Original McCoy", some of them might be as famous as the original!
Remember the World famous "Charlie.Chaplin" look-alike contest incident in which "Charlie.Chaplin" competing anonymously himself finished third!
As for me, i realized that a hobby can prove interesting and never boring.
